TRANSFER STUDENTS

Kendall & Schenck has unique expertise in working with transfer students who are looking to transfer from community college to four-year universities, as well as students who are seeking transfer between four-year schools.

• Evaluate student’s academic record to date and provide educational counseling (i.e., course selection) to meet college transfer requirements

• Advise community college students seeking transfer into a UC or other four-year university (i.e., extensive experience working with Articulation Transfer Agreements)

• Offer specific suggestions and strategies to present lapses in education and/or personal issues students have faced (i.e., illness, etc.)

• Identify colleges which would match student’s goals and be a good fit

• Brainstorm essay topics

• Help students articulate reasons for transfer as well as choice of major

We commence our work with an initial consultation. Thereafter, all in-person meetings and telephone consults are billed hourly. Editing/computer work is also billed hourly. We are flexible and will work with the student or his/her parent in-person, by phone, fax, and email.
